- The sockets are made by forging and subjected to special thermal and chemical processing, such as chrome plating - to prevent corrosion. Before hardening and degreasing processes, the sockets are calibrated using precise gauges and control devices. Furthermore, Proline sockets are equipped with special slots that work with locking mechanisms contained in ratchets and wrenches of the Proline brand
