The strength properties of the socket exceed the requirements of the DIN 3124 and PN-ISO 1711 standards.
The Proline-Tools hexagonal sockets are offered in a very wide assortment and work perfectly with Proline ratchets and wrenches (as well as those from other manufacturers). They are made from durable tool steel. The sockets are manufactured using drop forging and are subjected to special processes of heat treatment and chemical processing, e.g. chromium plating - to protect against corrosion. Before undertaking the hardening and degreasing processes, the sockets are calibrated using precise gauges and control devices. Additionally, the Proline sockets are equipped with special sockets that work with locking mechanisms that have ratchets and wrenches from the Proline brand.
The PROLINE socket has specially profiled edges between the working surfaces, the so-called PRO DRIVE system, used to counteract excessive point loads and to protect against excessive "wear" of the edges of the screw head and the working surfaces of the socket.
