The tester resembles a flat screwdriver in its design. It consists of a metal indicator and a plastic casing, equipped with a clear LCD display. On the casing are two metal plates that should be touched with a finger during measurement to choose one of two methods - direct or inductive. The direct method allows for checking and measuring the current after direct contact of the indicator with the element under voltage. A lightning bolt and the voltage value will then appear on the display. The inductive method enables voltage detection by bringing it close to the insulated wire - then a lightning symbol will appear on the display. The tester allows for measuring AC and DC current with a voltage range from 12V to 250V.
