Liquid, medium-active flux type 1.1.2/3 A according to ISO 9454-1, alcohol solution of rosin with the addition of organic activators, max. soldering temperature 280oC. Content of total parts 24%. Perfectly suitable for manual tinning to restore solderability. Physicochemical characteristics: - Appearance: liquid of dark amber color - Smell: alcoholic - resinous - Solubility in water: cloudy, well soluble only carrier, activator insoluble - Other solvents: most organic solvents - Activity by static method at 250C: - surface flow of alloy Sn60Pb40 250 mm2 - Halogen content: 0.06 % - Content of non-volatile substances: 24 % - Density at 20C: 0.86 g/cm3 - Packaging: oil can 100ml Usage: The flux can be applied to printed circuit boards by foam method, wave of flux, by dipping and with a brush. The flux and its residues do not show corrosive action after soldering, therefore do not require removal. If necessary, residues should be washed with PCB cleaner, ethanol or isopropyl alcohol.
