In AGM batteries, the electrolyte (a mixture of water and sulphuric acid) is largely absorbed by the glass fibre. This type of battery is completely maintenance-free. No gas is formed during normal use. Requiring no ventilation, these batteries can be installed anywhere.
Our batteries are suitable for buffer and cyclic operation:
- Buffer operation (emergency power supply) - the battery is constantly connected to the charging system and serves as an emergency power source in the event of a mains power failure.
- Cyclic operation - After charging, the battery is an independent source of energy for the devices connected to it, after discharging - it is recharged
AGM batteries, if they are not used for buffer operation, must be charged with special chargers. These chargers give the right charging current for the battery. Using car chargers or other chargers to charge batteries most often ends up damaging the battery. Especially in the case of cyclic operation, the battery should be recharged after each use, the battery must not be discharged below the cut-off voltage thresholds and it must be left (stored in a discharged state).

The battery needs to be kept clean at all times. When washing or cleaning it, do not allow any agents or liquids to get inside the battery. Maintenance-free batteries are charged in the same way as maintenance batteries.
