You've always been a night owl, and recently you've even started thinking about becoming a vampire. There are a lot of advantages: you don't age, you don't have to see yourself in mirrors anymore; if someone asks you to do something specific, you can turn into a bat and then say, "Sorry, I'm a bat." But there are probably a few disadvantages as well. You can't help but think of the statue in the village square that came to life and now works in the tavern as a tapmaid. In the process, the pedestal has also come to life, so that it can only move by hopping. The village blacksmith transforms into a wolf at full moon and into a Chihuahua at half moon. That's just the way it works. And yet, when you breathe in the night air, you feel ready for whatever may come.
