Step into the elegant Paris of the roaring twenties. Hop onto the open back platform of the bus and ride down the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. Admire the Eiffel Tower, and end a day full of excitement by watching the sunset from the balcony of an old building in Montmartre.
In this dynamic version of Ticket to Ride, players race to visit the most iconic tourist sites in the French capital while fulfilling their tickets. To win, we must not only cleverly utilize the expanding public transport network in Paris but also choose routes that allow us to celebrate the next anniversary of the storming of the Bastille.
What's it about?
At the beginning of the game, participants receive 2 ticket cards that indicate the places we need to connect with an unbroken route on the map. For this, we need two things: plastic bus figurines and the right number and color of transportation cards. We execute individual routes piece by piece, meaning that in our turn, we can connect two adjacent locations. An additional goal is to collect sets of cards in the colors of the French flag.
During the action, we can do one of three things:
- Draw up to two transportation cards.
- Connect two adjacent locations with a bus route.
- Draw additional ticket cards.
We'll play our turns this way until one player has one or fewer plastic pieces left to use. The winner is the one who collects the most points for completed tickets!
