Jakub Wędrowycz: Wild Moonshine is a cooperative card game by Joanna Kijanka (Settlers: Kingdoms of the North), inspired by the iconic book series by Andrzej Pilipiuk. It's happening! The drunkard, the rogue, but above all the monster hunter Jakub Wędrowycz sets off on another hunt. This time he is not alone, as he is accompanied by Józwa and Semen! In Jakub Wędrowycz, you will combine forces and together stand against the perverse beastliness. Each of you will use cards to perform the actions of your character, and other players will be able to support them with their cards. Depending on the choice of character and the enemies' leader, the game will take on a completely different dynamic. Many possible combinations between the cards will ensure you a variety of available abilities, and you will be able to set the difficulty level of the game according to your preferences. Fight monsters, defend locations, and acquire bottles, for they will provide you with vital energy! A day like any other. The door of the pub opened with a bang. Jakub entered, bringing in mud with his dirty boots. At the table by the window sat Semen, sipping his third beer of the day. Noon was approaching. The hunter took a seat next to his old mate, unceremoniously throwing a sack of potatoes on the table. What do we have here? - asked Semen. Nothing special - replied Jakub - the head of a ghoul, that's all. This devilry has been multiplying lately; we need to take care of it. But before we head out, pour a bit of moonshine. We need to boost our vital forces. Preparation. After selecting the enemy leader Dracula or the Devil, place his card in the center of the table. The leader will have more Life and Armor points for the more players sitting down to play. Next to the leader, place the shuffled deck of his Attacks, and above him a deck of his Minions. Then place 2 Location cards (The Pub and The Cemetery) on the table. Now let each of you place a card of your chosen Character in front of you, and next to it 2 Minion cards. These Minions will engage in close combat with your Characters. Finally, shuffle 12 Item cards for each Character participating in the game, creating a unique deck from them. Fight against the abomination. Each of you will take turns following the same steps. At the beginning, you must play 1 Item card. During this time, other players may help you by playing 1 card from their hand as Support. However, remember, each Supporter will have to take into account the reactions of the Minions who are in close combat with them. When you attack, it's time for your enemies! First, the Minions in close combat will attack you, then draw the Leader's Attack card and consider its effect, and finally draw as many new Minion cards as indicated by the Cemetery card. Victory or death. Remember that your actions are not limited to attacks only! You can pierce your enemies, nullifying their armor, or Disorient them, rendering them incapable of any actions. Focus your main attention on the Leader, you will win only when his Life points drop to zero. However, you must hurry, as it will be much easier for you to suffer defeat! You will lose immediately if anyone among you is defeated or if you have no Item cards in your hand to perform an action. You also lose if the Leader runs out of attack cards!
