Dice, workers, and cards... in medieval Baghdad Step into the roles of explorers, astronomers, and cartographers who traversed lands and seas around medieval Baghdad in the 9th century CE, on a mission to map the earth and the sky. Meet the Residents, develop your Caravan, manage workers and equipment, and keep a Journal of your journey to gain the favor of the caliph. Arrange the horizon with cards This is your engine. With the City and Port cards, you will gain new action spaces, with Mountains – permanent skills, and with Seas – one-time bonuses. Add Residents Under each terrain card, you can place a Resident card with a unique ability. You will always trigger it when you use the terrain card. The sky provides points Above each revealed terrain, you can add a Sky card. Revealed constellations or planets add sources of victory points. You can double them by adding an Inspiration card. Play a die or a worker Utilize dice on your own action spaces or workers on the main board actions. Alternatively, you can Rest to regain dice and move forward on the Journal track. Expand your Caravan The values of the dice you use on action spaces depend on your Caravan. Add tiles with selected action or income symbols to strengthen your chosen strategy. Journal Advance on the Journal track to unlock more dice, gain bonuses, Inspiration cards, or valuable Caravan tiles. When one of the players reaches the end of the track, it triggers the end of the game. New trilogy The Wanderers is the first game of a new series by Shem Phillips and S.J. Acquire cards from private action spaces, skills, and scoring methods, develop your Caravan, and decide on the game length. Replayability Strategy for exploring land terrains? Engaging solo mode A very intuitive solo variant offers four virtual opponents to choose from. Each has a different strategy!
