Game of the Vice Counts of the Western Kingdom The Vice Counts of the Western Kingdom is another game from Shema Philips's heart-capturing series of Western Kingdoms, distinguished by medieval themes, intuitive worker management mechanics, and characteristic beautiful graphics. The Vice Counts are the next core version of the game in this series that does not require components from any of the previously released titles to play a full game. In the Vice Counts of the Western Kingdom, the aim of each player is to have as many victory points (VP) as possible at the end of the game. Points are earned by building Buildings, copying Manuscripts, working in the Castle, and incorporating new lands into the Fief. Players start the game with a group of Townsfolk, but immediately set out to search for people whose talents better fit their intentions. In each round, players will travel through the kingdom, seeking opportunities to increase their influence among the various layers of society. The game ends when the Kingdom becomes impoverished or reaches prosperity, or even both at the same time!
