KD-X282DBT. With a strong DAB+ tuner, this media receiver not only guarantees brilliant digital radio sound, but with USB and Bluetooth audio streaming it is also a versatile entertainer and convenient smartphone all-rounder. Thanks to its low installation depth of just 100mm, it can be easily installed even in tight spaces and with DSP and 13-band equalizer it ensures perfect sound in every vehicle.
The Bluetooth module allows safe phone calls while driving and can be paired with up to two phones at the same time. The voice quality of the hands-free system is noticeably improved by using the external microphone supplied, and there is also sophisticated sound processing that suppresses background noise, for example, and thus further increases speech intelligibility. Pairing a smartphone for the first time is completely hassle-free thanks to BT Automatic Pairing for iOS and Android and is initially done once via a USB connection. The smartphone and car radio are then automatically paired via Bluetooth.
The DAB+ tuner receives the extensive range of digitally broadcast radio programs in fantastic quality, free of any interference - and not just in Germany, because digital radio is now available in almost all European countries. Seamless blending enables uninterrupted reception even if the digital signal is temporarily unavailable. The receiver then switches to the corresponding FM station and back again in a flash and practically inaudibly. This listening comfort is made possible by a data buffer that permanently stores the digital and analog signals of the selected program and aligns them when switching.
The DSP with runtime correction allows music to be played back at the correct time and can be individually adjusted for each channel. By selecting the type of loudspeaker used and the respective distance from the listening position, the car radio automatically calculates the ideal delay for each individual channel to ensure that the sound reaches the listener at the correct time. This achieves ideal spatiality and positioning.
The K2 technology developed by JVC restores the original sound of a recording by extending the bit rate and frequency range. The K2 technology works with all sources including CDs and extends their recording spectrum to 48 kHz/24 bit, for example, by reconstructing lost high-frequency components. With the JVC Remote App (Android & iOS) you can conveniently operate the moniceiver with your smartphone and control it using simple finger gestures. In addition to selecting the source, you can also switch channels and adjust the volume. Even the equalizer and time correction can be easily adjusted using the smartphone app.
