It's time to come out of the underworld and conquer the world! In Overboss, players take on the role of one of the bosses whose goal is to achieve the ultimate power. Its value is influenced by the terrain tiles arranged on the map and the monster tokens placed on them. Depending on the type of tile and its location in the space, better or worse results can be achieved.
In addition to the basic variant of the game, in which the terrain map consists of 12 tiles, players can also play the advanced variant with a map of 16 tiles, which additionally introduces boss cards with unique abilities and individual scoring.
Overboss is characterized not only by excellent, pixel-art graphics associated with retro video games and a universe that has already won the hearts of fans around the world. Despite the box stuffed to the brim with many components, the game has intuitive and simple rules, making it an ideal proposition for beginner board game players.
