Boston had better years. There are a lot of protests around, on the street you can easily feel the unrest of the society, racial tensions. Often the atmosphere is hot, on some days almost boiling. What a time to fight crime.
You drive a great car, you wear a leather coat, maybe every now and then you will break someone's skull. The seventies are interesting times, and this week is no exception.
Detective: The Other Side is an expansion pack for the award-winning Detective. It has the same idea and uses most of the basic principles, with some exceptions reflecting the different investigative techniques of past times.
The Detective Signature Series is a unique line of add-ons designed by some of the world's most famous game developers who bring their own unique take on the game. This is a place where creators can show their creativity and tell interesting stories using the tools created in the Detective game, modifying and changing them for the needs of their scenario.
The case written by Rob Daviau, known m.in from Pandemic Legacy, opens the whole series and Rob immediately takes us by surprise. His script takes us to Boston to the colorful seventies of the last century. For those of us who remember the series from those years, the famous Starsky & Hutch, it's a great opportunity to play music from the 70s and travel back in time!
