The tank destroyers were armed with a powerful 100mm PaK 43/2 L/71 anti-tank gun. 88 mm gun, which made them effective against almost all enemy vehicles. The thick armor provided good protection for the vehicle. Despite their impressive statistics, the Ferdinands also had some drawbacks. These include limited mobility and failures.
