The MCE468 is ideal for use in the garden, around the house or terrace, at gates, passages, corridors, basements, warehouses, garages and other places that require lighting or other devices to be turned on when motion is detected.
The sensor identifies day and night (dusk sensor), turns on and off depending on the appearance of an object in the detection field.
A detection angle of 180° and a detection distance of up to 12 meters allow for effective monitoring of a large area.
The main purpose of the presented sensor is automatic lighting control, but it is also possible to connect other electrical devices (e.g. electric heating, air conditioning, etc.) to it, provided that the energy receiver does not load the switch with a power greater than 1200 W (resistive load) or 600 W (inductive load).
Versatile use for lighting control of a wide variety of facilities:
- facades of residential buildings, courtyards, entrances, gates, garden greenery
- parking lots - external walls of buildings and other architectural objects
- advertising boards and billboards, shop windows
- many other objects, also in interiors
The device can operate both at night and during the day. The TIME dial is used to adjust the lighting time (from about 10 seconds to 15 minutes).
Use the LUX knob to set the sensitivity of ambient light (range from 3 to 2000 LUX). When the ambient light is insufficient and you want the device to work both during the day and at night, set the knob to the day position (sun icon).
