The aluminium frame of the 6000 series, which is used in the aeronautical industry, features tubes with very sophisticated shapes. Thanks to this, it has been possible to reduce weight and maximize its performance, achieving a robust and powerful frame.
Aircraft aluminum is lightweight and offers high performance; In addition, it is subjected to cold extrusions, butted at several points and heat-treated to reduce the weight of the frame as much as possible and obtain greater resistance.
The tubes are hydrodeformed to achieve more sophisticated designs, as well as light, offering a superior weld finish: the tig welded by an expert craftsman with double-pass welding, which is then polished to make it invisible. Its robust design, reinforced with more material in "sensitive" areas, integrates a strong and reliable press-fit bottom bracket for worry-free performance.
