The parking sensor is a device that assists in parking and reversing the vehicle. It works on the principle of sonar - it emits ultrasonic waves that, after reflecting off an obstacle, allow determining how far the car is from the obstacle. When reversing, the device correctly identifies obstacles in the vehicle's path and alerts the driver with a sound signal. New sensors are mounted on the inside of the bumper and do not protrude beyond its outline. Their small size makes them look very attractive. The sensors can be painted. It is recommended to apply a maximum of two thin, even coats of paint. The MAX-LED display features a modern design, with the top part of the casing covered in a black glossy finish (piano black). It indicates the distance to the obstacle with an accuracy of up to tenths of a meter. The built-in speaker (buzzer) that warns of obstacles has 3 volume modes.
