The parking sensor is a device that assists with parking and reversing a car. It works on the principle of sonar - emitting ultrasound waves that, after reflecting off an obstacle, allow you to determine the distance between the car and the obstacle. When reversing, the device correctly identifies obstacles in the path of the vehicle and alerts the driver with sound. The LED display indicates the distance to the obstacle with an accuracy of tenths of a meter. It also has a built-in speaker (buzzer) that can be turned off completely with a switch on the casing.
