The first step towards communication
Stabo Freecomm 200 portable PMR radio stations can be the first step towards walkie-talkie communication.
Although it is a small station, it has a number of functions that will allow you a very good communication; among these we mention: Scan (automatic scanning of channels), Battery warning (warning batteries discharged), Monitor (allows reception and weak signal).
Commutable transmission power LO/Hi
The well-known manufacturer of radio stations, Stabo, has integrated in the Freecomm 200 model the possibility of switching the LO/Hi transmitting power. The stations come with a power of 500mW, and the LO/Hi function offers the great benefit of saving battery consumption so only in case of need the emission to be more powerful.
Included Ni-Mh 550 mAh battery
The included battery will allow you to use the stations for a long time due to its capacity of 550 mAh or you can use separately 3 AAA batteries / accumulators (LR3).
Attention, before use charge the batteries of the stations.
The charging time of the batteries is 12-14 h, the batteries have the possibility to charge at half a time, 6-7 h, but this will lead to a decrease in the life of the batteries.
Range
The range depends on the environment and can be affected by forms that can obstruct waves, such as hills or buildings. The maximum coverage, in the open field is 5 km, and in urban areas up to 1km according to the manufacturer's specifications.
