MC4 = multi contact with 4mm pin. The MC4 solar connector type "Y" consists of a double T dispenser and a classic MC4 connector. The type of MC4-T connectors is used especially for the professional parallel connection of photovoltaic panels.
In order to be able to connect two photovoltaic panels in parallel we need a connector that has two inputs and an output. The connectors are of two types, NEGATIVE and POSITIVE or plus and minus. It is also sold in solar photovoltaic kit, and separately.
