If you look closely enough at the sky, you will see millions of galaxies. There are billions of stars in each of them. Planets can orbit around them, which in turn can hide life that potentially means intelligence. So there's a chance that when you point your telescope anywhere in the sky, you're looking into the eyes of someone who is also looking at you.
Take on the role of one of the leaders of space exploration and use cutting-edge technology to visit other planets, explore distant stars, and develop your abilities! SETI: Exploration of Extraterrestrial Civilizations is a complex expert game with over 200 unique technology cards based on real-world scientific knowledge and plenty of elements to help you discover new possibilities and paths to victory with each playthrough.
What does it involve?

- During the games, players become the head of space exploration agencies and set out to search for extraterrestrial life forms.
- The game takes place over 5 rounds, in which we play our turns.
- In our turn, we can perform one main action and any number of additional actions.
- Main actions allow us, for m.in, to launch probes, move them around the Solar System, enter the orbits of planets and land on them, as well as play cards and develop new technologies that provide us with various bonuses.
- Although each of us acts on our own by exploring space and playing cards, our activity contributes to the common goal of discovering alien species.
- There are 5 different alien species in the game, and 2 random species take part in a single game, remaining hidden until the appropriate conditions are met. Each species introduces its own rules of the game from the moment of discovery (including scoring) and a unique deck.
- The game ends at the end of round 5. Participants receive points for the collected cards with golden fields and golden scoring tiles, and the one who collects the most points wins.

Not only is the selection of cards random, but also the goals on the scoring tiles, as well as the initial location of the discs on the Solar System board, thanks to which we start each game in a completely different way.
- At the heart of the game is a deck of over 200 unique technology cards. Each of them has its own illustration and unique, yet extremely practical effects. On top of that, they are all designed based on real scientific knowledge, which adds character to the games!
- An interesting solution is the introduction of various alien species into the game, imposing their own rules. On the one hand, their pool is limited, so we can prepare to some extent for the changes they will bring, on the other hand, we are never sure what species will eventually be discovered.
