The first Warszawa M-20 rolled off the assembly line on November 6, 1951 at 2:00 p.m. Initial plans assumed production of 25,000 units per year, but by the end of 1951 only 75 copies were made. In 1954, exports also began. Initially, the car was sold to China, Romania, Albania and Bulgaria. On the basis of components dedicated to Warsaw, delivery vehicles were also constructed: Żuk, Nysa and Tarpan.
