The bulb is designed for original xenon headlights requiring D2R bulbs (xenon headlights without lens). It does not require any modifications in the installation. It has perfectly set focal length and a voltage connector characteristic for D2R bulb. It can be used only with D2R xenon transformer or another one with D2 Adapter.
