If one of the linked smoke detectors sounds an alarm, all other smoke detectors are automatically activated. The signal can then be heard in all rooms equipped with a smoke detector. The sensors of this smoke detector work according to the optical principle, i.e. the device regularly emits light rays that do not hit the photo lens in a normal state. However, if there is smoke in the room, then the rays are scattered and thus return to the lens. The smoke development detected in this way is now reported by the wireless smoke detector with 85dB - for comparison, a jackhammer has a volume of about 80dB.
